We’re Aqsha and Awab, the founders of AYDA.

Our purpose for AYDA is intentional. In a world that ignores, silences, and mistreats Muslim women, we are committed to protecting their wellbeing. We developed this app to honour the words of the Prophet (peace be upon him) to “treat women kindly.”

We believe that women have been inherently honoured and blessed by God, and have been created with divine intention and purpose. Every feature within AYDA is meant to help women live in alignment with that powerful truth.

We are on a mission to transform the lives of Muslim women around the world. We’re building a community of women who love their bodies in all its phases. Women who turn to faith for the wisdom and mercy it offers to become the best version of themselves. Women who find healing, acceptance, and fulfillment in their lives.

Through this app, we are creating a movement. We are showing the world that we speak for ourselves, we are empowered by our beliefs, and we value our identities. Regardless of what society thinks.
